Questions and Answers

  • Is this self employment for me?

In most cases yes.  Very few people want to work for someone else, and live with "one foot on a banana peel" where their job and income are concerned.  When you own your own business you control your life, and can make as much or as little as you want, without being controlled.

  • Do I have to have any specific background or experience to be successful in this business?

No.  When we started the "paint touch up business" in 1989, which led our company to expand into the "CLEAR BRIGHT" system of resurfacing  headlights, and taillights I had "0" experience in that or any other related field.

  • Are there any age restrictions?

Not really.  Because of the nature of the "CLEAR BRIGHT" system of headlight and taillight resurfacing, age is not a restriction.  It is good exercise, not physically demanding at all, and gives you a wonderful opportunity to enjoy talking with your customers, who in my case, many have become friends over time.

  • Can I work either full time or part time?

Yes.  Depending on your drive, financial need, and motivation, the choice of working certain hours, or certain days is completely up to you.

  • Is this business opportunity profitable?

Yes.  First lets look at how the numbers work when you have a "wholesale to the trade" licensed dealership.  Whether you work full time or part time your cash flow is based on how many vehicles you can complete in the amount of "working time" you have chosen to dedicate to your business.  I have done as many as 30 vehicles in a day working full time.  The number of vehicles you can do in a given day will depend on how much time you spend on each vehicle.  When you have more experience you may be able to resurface the headlights or taillights on a car, truck, or van in as little as 30 minutes each using the "CLEAR BRIGHT" system.  As an example:  If you charged only $40.00 per vehicle to resurface it's headlights, or taillights, and did only [5] vehicles a day [5] days a week your earnings could be as high as $200.00 a day, and working only a [5] day week, $2000.00 a week in earnings.  In the beginning, as you are learning, you may do more vehicles each day, or one or two less, but you may have the ability to work on Saturdays as well, which increases your income.  If you work hard and do [10] or more vehicles a day the additional income can be substantial.

  • When I have a "wholesale to the trade" Licensed dealership what are the  costs involved in starting my business?

Your "start up" expenses are minimal when compared to almost any other business ".  Your "start up" costs are small because the "wholesale to the trade" Licensed dealership is a "Mobile" business" which has no need for renting an office, of retail space, paying for "land line" telephone service,[you can use your cell phone, or buy another one just for your business purposes] there is no inventory of products to be purchased, and your advertising costs are minimal.

  • Do I need to buy a special van, or truck to operate my business?

No.  You can use your existing family car if you choose.

  • Are there any age or gender requirements?

Absolutely not.  Whether you are retired, semi retired, working for someone else and just want to have your own business, and the freedom it offers, or you are just getting started in life and choose to have your own business for your own personal reasons, this business opportunity may be perfect for you.

  • What costs are involved if I choose to have a to the [GENERAL PUBLIC ONLY] Licensed dealership?

The costs involved in opening a [GENERAL PUBLIC ONLY] Licensed dealership are higher because you will need to lease/or buy a retail storefront which has at least one bay, have signs created for your business, have the money necessary to advertise your location on an ongoing basis, etc.

  • Is the "RETAIL TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC" Licensed dealership a profitable business?

When dealing with the additional costs, and factoring in a suggested retail price of $79.95 per vehicle which is double the suggested "wholesale to the trade" price, and using [10] sales a day it may well be more profitable.  This will depend upon the costs of leasing/buying a location, and the other costs associated with opening the business in your specific part of the country, or world.
